Our Programs
We believe everybody should have access to the social and material means to live a flourishing life. 38% of single mamas in Atlanta live below the poverty line. These mothers must fight to provide their children with safe housing, quality childcare, adequate nutrition, and even basic necessities. We are committed to making the fight easier.
We facilitate two unconditional direct cash transfer programs: The Bridge and The Dignity Fund. We also operate a diaper bank that provides free diapers, wipes, formula, and emergency contraception to any family in our community.
Mama knows best. We provide immediate, short-term help to steady the lives of our mamas.
THE BRIDGE
A guaranteed income pilot that provides Black, single mamas with an extra $200-$500 per month for a full year - no strings attached. Cash is care; we cannot budget ourselves out of poverty.
THE DIGNITY FUND
A one-time direct cash transfer program that provides $500 to 10 unique families each month. You know exactly what you would do with an extra $500 right now, so do our mamas.
DIAPER BANK
Free diapers, wipes, formula, and emergency contraception (In partnership with ARC-SE!) benefits the physical and mental health of entire families.
