Our Story
Motherhood is a full-time job. Tender honors the strength, perseverance, and love that goes into caretaking. Our work is guided by the families we serve and rooted in dignity.
We know that even with the appropriate resources and support motherhood can be immensely difficult.
Tender was founded in 2020 by Jaycina Almond, a young Black mother, she became a single mom at 20 years old - which has informed the work we are doing.
